MINISTRY OVERVIEW

Our Mission is to give teenagers and young adults a future and a hope. Our goal is to help them help themselves.

Jeremiah 29:11New International Version (NIV)

11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works. the day of His return is drawing near.” – Hebrews 10:24-25 (New Living Translation)

Plan 29-11

We recently had the privilege of showing God’s love and support to  a 21 year old named Colton and move him with His beautiful dog from the streets and into his own apartment.  He now has a job driving a food delivery truck five nights a week that delivers meals to  others who are still homeless.  On his days off, this amazing young man continues to serve the homeless by volunteering to feed and clothed them through donations. He is giving back. So inspiring!!

Plan 29:11 is helping Juan, Elizabeth and Dianna realize their dreams to go to junior college to prepare for their future by providing financial assistance to help cover their tuition, books, and school supplies.  .

Juan’s ambitious goal to graduate in 18 months and become a mechanic prompted him to take 19 units his first semester. He needed a laptop which he has to use in the library since His family can not afford internet.

Dianna had given up hope and resigned herself to have to go to work for minimum wage and accept the fact she could not pursue her dreams because of the tuition and book costs.

Elizabeth had registered for college but found the book costs to be exorbitant and needed help to buy them and the  school supplies.

Both have started their  education and entered this fall semester working  toward a career in psychology.

Plan 29-11’s purpose is to provide financial assistance to cover books, laptops, or whatever it takes in order to help deserving, driven people get an education so that they can pursue their dreams of a better future.

Plan 29-11 is starting a mentoring program to work in conjunction with the boys and girls club and Big Brothers and Big Sisters. Most Youth today have very little guidance and direction.

Plan 29-11 is also working with another organization which is providing toiletries and clothing for the homeless in Los Angeles and Ventura Counties.

All it takes is someone who cares!! And a little time to give to others.

Without the assistance of Plan 29-11, many that we assist would have little or no other options but to work at minimum wage jobs that provide little future growth.

We recently helped a single Dad who gained custody of His 3 children, ages 1 3 and 4 and did not have beds to provide for them. We are supporting his new journey as a father and provider by purchasing beds for his new family.

You can help with donations or with items such as school supplies or lap tops, printers, book assistance etc. No amount is too large or too small. We don’t know all the needs that will come up where we can help stand beside others who are willing to work and change their lives.

If you know of others that need help please contact us.
